Watercolor Batik is a process that uses hot wax and watercolor paint on fine rice paper. Layers of wax and paint are applied to create the desired image. The painting is then mounted to a canvas and archivaly sealed.
All paintings are mounted onto a square gallery wrapped canvas ready for hanging.
A Colorado Native, Laura McElfresh, works in watercolor and watercolor batik. Laura resides in Aurora with her husband of eleven years, four of their seven children, (two are grown), and their rescue dog, Zoe.
